Thanks David for your answer. We have since remodeled and our kitchen is much faster. Our service and good is top notch. Can't wait to see you, and Don, if he comes back this year.
There are tuna melt sandwiches and deep fried cod in the fish and chips baskets.
They don't take reservations. First come, first served.
Good view of the river but not for sunsets.
Sunday bands are from 4-8pm
I don't know. Give them a call!
Music Friday and Saturday nights. 8:30-9pm start
They do not. Sorry.
Great food and great service. Wait time were a little crazy. Welcome to the world of covid-19.
Friendly staff and great food! So yummy
Food was yummy & staff was excellent. The young man that helped us was so polite & quick. Beautiful view & atmosphere even on a busy hot day
Food has to be better. Environment is great!
The food, service and atmosphere was AMAZING! So worth the drive and can't wait to go again!
Had a lady biker convention here. Staff is well trained and seem to take customer service to heart. They did a great job with our buffet. Their issue with card keys having to be reissued is annoying and the players club card only works on some machines but they dont inform you of it or how it works. Their restaurants are great and lots of entertainment choices. Clean well kept facilities. The pool had limited access due to renovations. Great time here all in all.
I had the worst food experience. The 3-in-1 coffee served under the proud name of cappuccino in a cup that was washed the last time in 1990 if ever (I could see the lipstick print of a previous person drinking from the cup), cold, hardly edible potato with old sad salad on the side. My friend had soda with ‘chlorinated’ iced cubes, which stole the taste of the drink, and the burger with tasteless tomatoes. Oily fingerprints on the booklet were the final act of our dinner. I’ll be glad if we ‘survive’ this dinner without having a food posing on top of disappointment.
Loved it and devoted my love to a wonderful woman with the whole scenery the lovely patio view of the water
COVID-19 they are not following safe practices. Not one worker on the floor or in the kitchen was wearing a mask. No signs saying masks are required which is against state law currently. We left immediately.
Delicious food and great, down to earth service. Only item we didn't like was strange coffee. Outside terrace is very refreshing with river views.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS RESTAURANT!! I waited for 1 1/2 hour for my food and it still didn't arrive. The tables were dirty and flies were everywhere. I got to the restaurant at 7:15pm and waited until 8:45pm and the food still hadn't arrived! After waiting that long I just left. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Nice view of the river. Restaurant recently opened under new management. Food was very good. I'd like to come back when they have live music.
The River View has really cleaned up! The food menu won't have any unique items, but the food is above-average for the area. The best part about The River View is the patio dining area. It has a great view of the river. Parking spaces in the lot fills up quickly during the high season around meal times, so look for street parking along Sierra Hwy. I recommend the pizzas. They're the best in town. A small pizza can feed two average adults. I also like the BLT sandwich and fish-n-chips. Burgers are massive. The River View can accommodate large groups easily. Dogs are allowed in the patio area and it helps that they have a full bar. When there's a live band, people get up and dance. On Sundays, Shiloh plays. They play covers of classic 70's rock songs .
A table over the river so nice. We rode up for a snack and a beer. Pulled pork was a little dry still a darn good sandwich. The burger was good. I understand they are busy but still could have picked up the speed. Ppl arriving as we were getting on the bikes were walking right back out. Get there early I guess...
New management and food was passable. I wouldn't recommend their optional mask policy. It's the only restaurant open "late" for miles and the whole town and all out of town tourists seem to head there. If you can do takeout it would be better. The patio has a good view of a little river going down next to the place. No one wears a mask there though. Posted the new menu too.
We came to this restaurant for a meeting. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very nice. The staff members were very polite and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was yummy. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.
My wife and I spent the day out to see Sequoia National Park and we had a great time. After a long drive and a long day of hiking, we decided to get something to eat. We searched to see what was in the area and we saw this place on the way home. We thought that we would give this place a chance. We went to the outdoor seating area where we had a good view of the river (hence the name River View). The weather was just right and the service was great!I went ahead and ordered their popular "Three Rivers Burger" which is described "Our Signature Triple Burger stacked with Pepperoni and Jack, Bacon and American, and Pastrami and Swiss". Although this is a ton of food even for a guy like me, I have to say that the Three Rivers Burger was quite an experience. It is a unique and original burger, which is something I am always willing to try.
Good food, great patio, friendly with a local vibe. One of my favorite spots to eat.
I really wanted to love this place, so disappointed though. We waited an hour for our food which was just a couple of sandwiches. The food was horrible when it finally came. One side of the sandwich was soggy and not toasted, the other side toasted and hard as a rock. I also was concerned because in between customers they were not wiping down the condiments on the tables, no employees including kitchen staff wore a mask. I will say the view was beautiful but we would never go back nor recommend this place.
Good food. Best for sandwiches and lunch. Has a nice Deck with a view of the river. Nice setting. Landmark restaurant and gets very busy. They also hold events and karaoke
What a puke fest for food.. It was crowded but only waited about twenty minutes to get seated.. After being seated and waitress finally made her way over and her first words were it's going to be a 45 minute wait for food, we decide to wait again.. My wife thinks they wanted us to leave (probably cause we don't drink alcohol and we aren't much profit from a cheeseburger, water and a diet Coke.. That was the driest and nastiest burger and fries.. It came plain with meat cheese and a packet of mayo.. No lettuce tomato onion nothing, not even on the side.. We won't be returning there again.. Also NOONE wore a mask, not a single customer and worse, not a single worker..
Food was good, place was remodeled just a bit but the view was great!
Bad service. Wait an hour and 15 minutes to be served
The service was terrible. Sat us in a hot corner after we asked to sit by the river. People seated after us were served first. Waited 1 hr for food.
Poppers were really yummy, mushrooms were pretty good, over 30 minutes to get drinks and tea was forgotten, over an hour for food to be served and the side salad was forgotten
Only giving 2 stars for atmosphere. This place USED to be my favorite go-to place in Three Rivers. Was totally disappointed! Food & service was HORRIBLE! DEFINITELY over priced! Wont be returning ANY time soon!
The outside patio beside the river is 💣. This was also the first bar I've visited that actually had spiked Ginger beer. Fun, friendly and beautifully diverse environment. We didnt try the food. I would stop again.
Great food, drinks, and views. Food service was a bit slow but hey, the view and wine refills make up for it!!
The drive up to Three Rivers is well worth it. This place has Great food and Amazing views. So relaxing to have your meal by such a peaceful river. I cant wait until we go back.
Excellent eating experience from walking in the door and being greeted by employee.A fresh, flavorful, and high-quality food. I went there with my friend. We spend a great time.
New ownership is changing things, looks to be for the better.
Great service! Beautiful river views. Delicious fresh vegetarian pizza. Family friendly atmosphere at lunch.
I would probably give a 4 star because the service was excellent and so was the view of the water but everything else wasn't up to par. The food looked nice, but was over priced and so were the drinks. I was expecting it to be better because of the other reviews. I could get food like this anywhere for cheaper. The bloody mary was probably the only drink we had priced right. Our chicken was dry and we paid $65 for all bar type food options. In addition the chili cheese fries was a great size, but should come with fry options because we personally were not into the curly fries. I'd come in here for beer and pool but if I'm going to come for the food i prefer buckaroos for the price. Thank you for the service though it made it much better.
Great view on huge patio next to river. Chili cheese baked potato and honey wheat beer was great, too!
Not sure why this is rated badly. Me and my wife had great food and the waiters were really nice attentive and very polite. We loved the food.i got the chicken sandwich and my wife got fish and onion rings and it was great!
Great food, good beer, good service, great river view. But if you're squeamish about folks not wearing masks or social distancing - don't eat here. The staff do not wear masks and none of the clientele do either. Thankfully the dining is outside, there's plenty of space and there's usually a breeze as it's next to the river.
The food was great and the bus boy was great but the waitress was not that good with her service.
*AVOID* Employees are nice, but the servers don't wear masks despite the large number of tourists passing through. Not sure if cooking staff wears them. Sign out front is misleading, as if they don't mind if you wear a mask or not, but isn't clear that their staff will not. After a long day hiking, we were ravenous. Started eating the food, but gave up due to poor quality and excessive bees. Also stopped because they just leave out the condiments, like ketchup, in communal bottles. Haven't seen that anywhere else during the pandemic. Fried chicken was way overcooked. Burger wasn't even as good as a fast food burger. The fries were tasteless and looked like the ones you buy in the freezer section of the market. Nice people, but clearly unconcerned about serving quality food or the health and safety of their employees and customers. They do not appear to be complying with current COVID19 guidelines, from what we observed.
I simply like their dishes. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always very kind. Will come back again.
Beautiful view from the patio. My food never came. It was their first day back open. (They did bring me complimentary food.)
The food was great! Three chili was awesome!
This place was terrible. First, they have a sign out front that says they won't wear masks. Second, our server was awful. I had to ask for my soda 3 times. Then our order came out wrong. The food was just so so.And, people were smoking in the eating areas. It was just all around awful and I intend to report them for the mask thing.
Amazing people, amazing food. Three of us drove down from sequoia (starving & miserable LOL) and stopped at the first few restaurants we saw to get food but all were closed. River View was too, but the kind woman who opened the door told us to hold on a minute. Although the kitchen had already closed, the owners welcomed us in with open arms, filled us up with delicious meals & cold beer. The kindness in this place is beautiful. Every individual working there was sweet, and from meeting the owners, you know that’s no accident! Good people find good people! Thank you for a great experience.
We were quite surprised that none of the employees (waitresses, cooks, hostess) were wearing masks, particularly as this is a holiday weekend with larger crowds. They were, however, complying with outdoor seating. The food was good.
The food was just ok and nothing more, and I think I paid a lot for a fountain soda. People were nice enough and the view was alright also....
Wonderful place! Inviting from the moment we walked in (very attentive/friendly/welcoming staff). We came for dinner after a long day on the Sequoia trails. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The outside area is fantastic - you are dining right on the river which makes for a great experience. The food was delicious!! Our server, Juan, was great. 5 stars to this lovely place.
The service was great, our waitresses were very nice & very inviting & the food was also good, we didn't have to wait very long for our food & the scenery was beautiful 🍔🍟🍽❤💯
Great place!! Good for kids and adults. I only been there for lunch time, it was so nice. The patio is to die for. It's covered and so comfortable. Sitting in the patio watching the freshly melted water rush down the hill, it breath taking, and the food is perfect. Can't wait to get back out to Three Rivers .
I adore this place! They offer tasty dishes, their menu is large, The chef in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always fresh, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend this place.
This is a great local place to eat food at! They serve fresh american food with a nice, river view atmosphere. As on early july, the patio seating is open.
